STUDENTS IN SOFI
A gallery popped up in Miami Beachs South of Fifth neighborhood courtesy of ONE International Sothebys Realty. The firm partnered with the National YoungArts Foundation for ONE is Where the Art Is, an ongoing program to support the next generation of artists. Six high-school students who participate in YoungArts were selected to exhibit their work at ONE Sothebys South of Fifth office. The group show, titled YoungArts at ONE, presents visual art and design whose themes explore architecture, abstraction and contemporary life. The exhibit is open to the public through summer. YoungArts also hosts its first photography alumni exhibit at its headquarters and campus on the mainland. Master teacher and panelist Michelle Dunn Marsh curated works in YoungArts gallery. Visit Tuesday-Friday through June 30.

MERRICK MOVE
After testing South Florida waters with a South Miami boutique, Brazilian fashion and swimwear designer Adriana Degreas relocated to the Shops at Merrick Park. The 5,800-square-foot flagship allows fans to have access to the full assortment of dresses, cover-ups, swimsuits and accessories, from sandals to sun hats. She follows up the original boutiques spectacular tropical setting with another chic concept that befits her new home in Coral Gables. Interior designer Juan Camacho keeps the tropical motif through touches of Palm Beach and Miami. He chose Art Deco furniture upholstered in velvet, banana leaf-patterned wallpaper and bronze fixtures to capture the region in its 20th-century heyday. Degreas, who hopes it will transport and inspire shoppers, hosted a private grand opening earlier this week.

Equinoxs fifth Miami location launched yesterday. Because its the fitness chains first venue here to be built from the ground up, designers were able to fully realize its vision for a comprehensive wellness hub. The trilevel, 34,000-square-foot gym and spa is part of a mixed-use development in Brickell, making it the neighborhoods second Equinox (theyre also in Aventura, South Beach and Coral Gables). Members can enjoy a Kids Club, athleisure boutique, caf and juice bar, and pool with a wraparound deck, cabanas and water views. Its the only Equinox in Florida to offer hot yoga. Other popular signature classes are the Cut for cardio-intense boxing and the Pursuit for high-tech, competitive cycling. The Spa at Equinox with indoor and outdoor treatment rooms completes the oasis.

All Day coffee shop in downtown Miami was recently featured in a story about cold brew coffee drinks in The New York Times. Oliver Strand, the papers go-to guy for coffee, writes, At All Day, a coffee shop in Miami thats on the must-visit list of coffee fanatics, cold brew is the foundation of the menu.
