Saks Fifth Avenue and North Sails Collection, sportswear for men, women and children, are taking VIP shoppers on a spectator cruise to experience the competition up close. The exclusive event celebrates North Sails pop-up for mens wear at Saks new store in Brickell City Centre for the entire month of March. Shops for accessories like duffel bags and caps as well as activewear including polos, swimsuits and waterproof jackets. Miami is one of only three American cities to receive the pop up.

After listening to Gloria Estefan sing with the Miami Symphony Orchestra in the Miami Design Districts Palm Court tomorrow from 5-8 p.m., make your way over to her new Cuban restaurant. She and her hubby, Emilio, opened Estefan Kitchen in the same courtyard. Chef Odell Torres reinvents Glorias grandmothers treasured Cuban recipes for a new generation. A Caribbean variation of ham and pineapple pizza, lechn and sweet plantains top flatbread. He upgrades Serrano ham croquettes with bchamel and a balsamic guava reduction. The palomilla steak is wagyu, though served traditionally with humble black beans and rice. Seafood dishes range from shellfish paella to the pan-seared catch of the day in a citrus sauce with tostones. Begin with a mojito at the oyster shell-encrusted bar.

Starchitect Richard Meier will be in town to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony atFour Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club tomorrow afternoon. Nadim Ashi, whose Fort Partners developed the project; Four Seasons CEO J. Allen Smith; Reed Kandalaft, general manager for the property; Joseph Dirand, who designed interiors, and Antonio Sersale, who is opening a branch of his famous Amalfi Coast restaurant, Le Sirenuse, at the hotel, will also be present for the grand reveal. Its Four Seasons second location in Miami and fourth in Florida. Meier wrapped his modern glass additions around Russell Pancoasts original Mediterranean Revival design dating to the 1930s. The hotels 77 guest rooms begin accepting reservations later this month. Along with an expansive beachfront and cabanas, guests can enjoy a 15,000-square-foot wellness center.

Prez Art Museum Miamis third annual Art of the Party takes place April 1, so its time to think about scoring tickets or a whole table. Presented by Valentino, this years fundraiser honors painter and photographer Lorna Simpson (pictured). Her provocative works, which are featured in PAMMs collection, address issues of race and sexual identity. Lee Schrager returns to create three tiers of exclusive concepts. Michael Schwartz and Starr Catering Group partner for Chefs Table, a reception and seated dinner on the bayside terrace, and Supper Club, a later, more relaxed lounge set-up with private butlers and live entertainment in the galleries.
