ONE Sothebys Launches YoungArts Partnership in NYC

This year has been a year of innovation and growth for ONE Sothebys International Realty. Amongst the achievements that we are most excited to share is our new partnership with The National YoungArts Foundation which was launched at a dinner in NYC this Spring. The launch marked the beginning of our official corporate partnership with this renowned artistic institution. But as many of you know, it aligns with our historic commitment to supporting the artistic community in South Florida and beyond with signature programs and a rotating art collection in our Miami Beach office.

We believe luxury real estate and fine art goes hand in hand. Our belief is supported by our actions. Our firm has actively sponsored Sothebys art auctions on a global scale and has participated in every stage of our local communitys emergence as an artistic hub. Over the past decade, South Florida has nurtured its reputation as a rising force in this world by hosting Art Basel annually, courting cultural venues like the Faena Forum and creating space for a plethora of new museums. ONE Sothebys has been involved in different ways at the foundational level of all these initiatives. We are proud to have contributed to our areas elevated role in the global artistic discourse, and we will further that influence on a national level with the renowned YoungArts Foundation.

The partnership is a perfect fit. Like our own Sothebys brand, YoungArts has a rich history. The foundation was established in 1981 by Lin and Ted Arison to identify and nurture the most accomplished young artists in the visual, literary, design and performing arts and assist them at critical junctures in their educational and professional development. Moving forward, we will work in tandem to support a wide range of annual programs with some of the nations leading cultural institutions. ONE Sothebys will be included in all of YAs collateral for the Miami, L.A. and New York market as their official corporate partner.

For our President Daniel de la Vega, this partnership is personal. His attraction to YoungArts stems from a true respect and love of the arts. The outcome is a partnership which continues to elevate the ONE Sothebys brand beyond the conventional and into the extraordinary. Daniel explains, We found that the team at YoungArts was providing a platform for young artists, in all facets of the arts world, to express themselves through a series of different events. I dont know anywhere else where young artists can learn from YoungArts Alumni such as Ghery, Zapata and the late Hadid, just to name a few.

Daniel explores the unexpected to continually evolve the brand into new luxury spaces. YoungArts is the latest example of this. We are the only luxury real estate company to have stepped out of the box and partnered with an organization like such. I am excited to work with these artists in many capacities. As a next step, Daniel will be hosting a contest at our Miami Beach office which will engage various YoungArts painters. The winner will paint a mural on the side of our of our buildings. We cant wait to see the beautiful outcome. Stay tuned for partnership milestones as we keep growing with the artists we support.
