ONE Sothebys, along with Swire Properties, recently celebrated the topping off of Brickell City Centres entire west block, the largest of the three that make up the master-planned communitys 5.4 million square feet. Boasting 43 stories containing 390 units, Rise offers one to four bedroom units priced from $550,000 to $2.7 million. In addition to living and office spaces, Rise will include a four-story retail component anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue. The first of two luxury condominium towers, its sister tower, Reach, is scheduled to top off later this month.
A luncheon was held for the more than 700 construction workers building the $1.05 billion mixed-use project, during which a ceremonial tree was hoisted to the top floor. The celebration continued into the night with more than 200 of the projects brokers marking the occasion with an evening cocktail event. Contractors and developers are pleased with the steady progress Brickell City Centre is making, and they are on schedule to complete the project by the end of 2015.
