ONE Sothebys International Realty, our properties, and our associates are often featured in newspapers and on websites chronicling different aspects of Miami real estate. December was no different, as ONE Sir has been mentioned in both the New York Post and New York Times over the course of the month. The New York Post Real Estate website published an article entitled, "Weeks after Art Basel, 8 ways Miami is still sizzling."

With Private Villas on the list, its no surprise that our Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami Beach was included. Privacy is an amenity often found on the top of the list when it comes to buyer priorities and to have the services that come with a condo, but the privacy of a home is a unique feature of the Miami Beach marketplace. Ritz-Carlton Residences will be comprised of 15 unattached villas, eight of which are waterfront. Prices for these three to four bedroom villas range from $5million to $7million.

The New York Times Real Estate website also featured ONE Sir in the article, "New York City Prices in Miami." President of One Sir, Daniel de la Vega offered his input on New York buyers and their interest in Miami saying, "New Yorkers typically went to Palm Beach for their vacation homes, but now they see Miami as a value." Miami was ranked number seven in the most important city to high-net-worth individual with more than $30 million in assets.

According to de la Vega, (New Yorkers) are coming here, driving up prices and creating a frenzy. Not only does Miami have just as much to offer as New York, but add on unbeatable weather year-round and its clear to see why New Yorkers would come in droves.
