2014 South Beach Wine and Food Festival

The annual South Beach Wine and Food Festival is less than a month a way and this years festival has our mouths watering already! Some of the highlights of the festival are featured below. South Beach Wine & Food Festival Events on Thursday, February 20th

On Thursday, the festival will kick-off beachside at the Delano Hotel with a Mot Hennessy's The Q presented by Creekstone Farms taste portfolio and feature the 2014 Sports Illustrated models as they celebrate the iconic 50th anniversary issue of the magazine. The host is none other than the King of Carnivores, Michael Symon, who will join forty of the nations top chefs for a celebration that is not to be missed! Then when the clock strikes 10 a new kind of party will take over called FLAUNT, presented by Belvedere Vodka, Mot & Chandon Champagne, Hennessy, Champagne Veuve Clicquot and GM Titanium.

South Beach Wine & Food Festival Events on Friday, February 21st

In honor of the tenth anniversary of her Michelin Guide-rated restaurant, The Spotted Pig, Chef April Bloomfield paired with restaurateur Ken Friedman. They will celebrate at one of Miamis most iconic restaurants, The Forge in Miami Beach with their guests.

South Beach Wine & Food Festival Events on Saturday, February 22

The culminating weekend event is going to happen at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach from 7:30-10:30 pm. It is the Wine Spectators Best of the Best event sponsored by Bank of America and Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. The #SBWFF selected 50 of the nations best chefs to pair their own unique delectable samplings with wines that Wine Spectator has rated with 90 points or higher on their scale. Your taste palate will leave this event refined. Trust us.

From 11 to 6 pm on Saturday, guests of the #SBWFF can catch some of the celebrity chefs from Food Network and the Cooking Channel under the Whole Foods Market Grand Tasting Village in Miami Beach.   2. From 7- 11 pm on Saturday, Bank of America presents the annual Tribute Dinner at Loews Miami Beach Hotel as part of The New York Times Dinner Series. Loews CEO, Jonathan Tisch, will host the event and honor the highly-skilled winemaker Chuck Wagner, owner of Caymus Vineyards, along with the CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group, Danny Meyer.

Beachside at the Delano Hotel from 10-1 am Saturday, guests can find the world-renowned chef and food network celebrity, Emeril Lagasse, with rock and roll legend Sammy Hager to host Emeril & Sammys Rockin Beach Party at Sammys Beach Bar Rum. The Cabo Wabo Tequila and Sammys Beach Bar Rum will be flowing!

Miamis own celebrity chef, Michelle Bernstein, will be hosting the Goya Foods Swine and Wine dinner at the Biltmore hotel in Coral Gables. Various chefs will join her in creating their own unique renditions of the caja china paired with side and desserts will be made by the Biltmore hotel. The Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida will be providing the drinks that properly match the taste portfolio of this roast-fest.

On Sunday, Food Networks Robert Irvine will join other culinary celebrities in Jungle Island for a day full of fitness and learning about healthier food and lifestyle choices. The family-friendly event is called Fun and Fit as a Family and is hosted by Carnival cruises and features Goya Kidz Kitchen.
