Zaha Hadid has been commissioned to design the Ronald McDonald House in Hamburg, Germany along with other top design firms from along the world. The Ronald McDonald House will be located on the site of the Altrona Childrens Hospital and will be a space for families with seriously ill children to call home. Hadids futuristic vision is reflected in the design, while at the same time being comfortable.

Tokyo has been chosen as the host of the 2020 Olympics and Zaha Hadid Architects is designing the National Stadium that will be a major venue during the games. The sports complex will seat 80,000 people. It is already being considered as Japans new major landmark.
