The Fourth of July is upon us once again and this year more than ever we have much to celebrate about. Our real estate market continues to make a strong recovery and its also a great indication that the Fireworks at the Biltmore are back this year after taking a hiatus. From Fort Lauderdale to Coral Gables, weve put together a list of the best places to enjoy all fireworks and the patriotic spirit this Fourth of July.

Fort Lauderdale

The City of Fort Lauderdale Presents a 4th of July Spectacular

If you are in the Fort Lauderdale area, celebrate Independence Day on the beach at A1A and Las Olas Blvd. Celebrations from the city of Fort Lauderdale will last from 12:30pm to 9:30pm. The Kids Play Zone will be open until 4:30pm and will be hosted by DJ William Pennhouse. There will also be a good old-fashioned hot dog eating contest, baby Diaper Derby, performance by the American Legion Symphonic Orchestra and a beautiful fireworks display over the water.

Downtown Miami

Americas Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park

The Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park will be an all day event. Kids activities will kick off as early as 11am and the night will culminate with a fireworks show at 9pm. DWNTWN Miami, The Miami DDA and Bayfront Park will be bringing guests live music, a petting zoo, pony rides, food and more for their annual party on the bay.

Coral Gables

Fireworks Spectacular at the Biltmore

The Biltmore Hotel will continue a beloved tradition of having one of the most impressive fireworks shows in town this year with their annual Fireworks Spectacular. The Donald Ross Gold Course will be open to the public beginning at 5pm where food trucks will be set up. For the best seats in the house look into booking a VIP Table at the event.

Village at Gulfstream Park

July 4th a Day to Honor Veterans, Servicemen and Servicewomen

For a more untraditional celebration try Gulfstream Park, where festivities will begin at 1pm. For the children there will be a full Kids Play Zone with a rock climbing wall, pony rides, carnival games, face painting and crafts. For the adults the park will host their first full Thoroughbred race program on and a special giveaway for Veterans in attendance. There will plenty of carnival food and an American Buffet at the Ten Palm available, but for the sake of the horses, this event will be replacing fireworks with a laser light show.

Miami Beach

Coca-Cola Presents Fire on the Fourth

Following last years announcement that Coca-Cola will be the city of Miami Beachs exclusive beverage provider for 10 years, the brand will bring a slew of festivities to Ocean Drive. The live music will begin at 7pm with a DJ and performance by renowned Jazz singer and UM alum, Nicole Henry. Fireworks begin at 9pm. The city will even provide free shuttles from North Beach to South Beach from 5pm until 11pm.
