2012 Landmark Year in Sothebys Jewelry Sales

In 2012, Sothebys achieved $460.5 million in sales, a record for the prestigious auction house. The jewelry auctioned featured pieces from private collections, historical jewels with noble provenance as well as diamonds and gemstones. In Hong Kong, Sothebys reached an annual total of $114.5 million, marking the companys second-biggest year of jewelry and jadeite sales in Asia.
