From January 18-21, downtown Miamis waterfront will be port to the fourth edition of Miami International Art Fair, one of Americas most vibrant mid-winter contemporary art fairs. Its all about experiencing world-class art in downtown Miami, which is part of Miami-Dade County's bustling Bayside corridor and where residents enjoy cultural activities year-round. The fair takes place aboard luxury mega-yacht SeaFair. Sculpture Miami, a waterside installation and exhibition, will grace adjacent Bayfront Park.
The fair presents 30 curated international dealers representing emerging and established contemporary artists in a variety of media -- from painting to photography to video and luxe jewelry. The fairs mission is to showcase galleries representing the most talented and visionary artists of the 21st century. SeaFair, a work of art in nautical engineering itself, will be docked in front of the Intercontinental Hotel, where international dealers will meet collectors.
The 228-foot vessel is the worlds first mobile mega-yacht venue and one of the largest private yachts in the United States, boasting three decks for international galleries as well as a formal glass-walled collectors lounge, sky deck bar and bistro. A VIP preview event takes place January 17, honoring Miamis Museum of Contemporary Art. Public viewing begins on the 18th. For more information, visit Miami International Art Fair or call 239-495-2024.

The SeaFair mega-yacht will host numerous gallery exhibit spaces during MIA 2013.

Journey into contemporary art without leaving port.
