Sotheby's Latin American Art Sale will Showcase Rare Works from Fernando Botero, Diego Rivera & others

On May 27th and 28th Sotheby's Latin American Art Sale in New York City will feature 245 pieces created by masters that include Wilfredo Lam, Leonora Carrington, Matta and Emilio Pettoruti. The exclusive selection of paintings and sculptures is expected to set record sales for the artists, in particular Diego Rivera's 'Tejedora y Los Ninos" (Weaver and the Children), which has been kept from the public in a private collection for 50+ years.
