This letter is written in support of our real estate advisor, Lara Goodwin. She was kind enough to meet us on very little notice and provide us with a book on the history of Boca. We drove around the entire afternoon getting to know one another, the different local communities, real estate market, shopping and dining hot spots. We quickly learned that Lara is very passionate about Boca, knows almost everyone builder and realtor in the area, knows all houses listed and sold in the last several years or finds out very quickly and lets you know, and works hard to make sure she understands her clients preferences and manage expectations.Lara's biggest asset in our estimation is her perseverance to help and protect her clients. She will speak up and point out problems with houses, gently argue points with other advisors and builders, remind other brokers, builders and lawyers of their obligations, and just in general always be there, even nights and weekends, to watch over and guide the process for her clients. We recently closed on the sale of our condominium in South Florida. Having been an absentee owner for a period of time, we were naturally concerned with connecting with an experienced and professional real estate agent. We met Lara when we were visiting a house Lara was showing. We were so impressed by her professionalism, easy manner, attention to detail and marketplace knowledge that we decided to work with her when we returned to continue our search, this time for condominiums. It was the best of times it was the worst of times. It was a difficult journey because we had to wait 4 years for our project to be completed. Before we signed Lara explained all the pros and cons of a new condo build. She made it clear it could be a longer completion date than had been originally promised. We chose to move ahead. For fours years she stood by our side. She checked in with us weekly…sometimes daily. She wrote and called the developer on our behalf. She offered us other options in case we wanted to back out. She kept us positive and goal focused. She truly was there for us every step of the way for 4 years. Her work ethic, knowledge of real estate and professionalism are impeccable. The realtor for the developer told me "You are lucky to have her working so hard for you…most only show up for their check” That says it all. Thank you Lara!
