With the recent spike in housing prices, I have seen my fair share of Agents who only see clients as an easy potential commission check. From the initial introductory phone call, all the way through handing us our keys after settlement, my wife and I always felt that Kristie was working the deal for us as if it was her own purchase. We decided to seriously start looking for a second home in late 2020. Not being familiar with the Miami area, we relied on a trusted friend who suggested we connect with Kristie to help with our search. We collaborated with Kristie on our checklist of home features and neighborhoods we desired for our search. She was promptly able to present us with listing options that checked our boxes. Kristie would regularly update our shared link of listings as new homes came to market and would reach out directly if there was one that particularly seemed to be of interest. We finally found our new home solely as result of Kristie's deep professional connections with other real estate professionals in the region. This home was about to fall out of escrow and become relisted on the MLS. This is a building where units were moving particularly fast in. Most were averaging less than a week on the MLS before going under contract. Kristie was alerted to this deal through one of her contacts. We just so happened to be in town that weekend when she called us to explain the situation. We knew we would have to move fast if we wanted a shot at submitting an offer before it was being relisted that Monday. Unable to get access to the unit prior to us heading home the next day, Kristie personally drove us to the airport and assured us she would be visiting the unit the following morning on our behalf. She followed up the next afternoon with many pictures and a video walkthrough of the unit, while narrating all of its important features. We felt as if we were walking through the unit ourselves. Kristie negotiated and worked our deal like she was buying the home for herself it seemed. We NEVER felt as if she took our potential business for granted. I wish there were more agents like Kristie Ann Weyhmiller so other buyers could have the same pleasant experience when buying or selling a home in the South Florida area market.
