Held in late July and early August, Aspen Art Week soars again. Highlights include the Aspen Art Fair (Hotel Jerome), Intersect Aspen art and design fair (Aspen Ice Garden), and the Aspen Art Museum’s ArtCrush gala honoring artist Glenn Ligon. This year, AAM also premieres the AIR Festival, featuring performances and installations by creative visionaries including André 3000, Matthew Barney, Paul Chan, Frida Escobedo, and Maya Lin (various venues).

Style & Music
Oliver Smith Jeweler co-presents the annual Watch Week Aspen, featuring timepieces from A. Lange & Söhne, Bremont, Norqain, and more. Kemo Sabe, Revolve, Kiton, and Obermeyer are among the featured brands and retailers participating in the inaugural Aspen Fashion Week, with runway shows and experiences (August 7–10). Music lovers can head to Buttermilk’s Panda Peak for the first-ever Up in the Sky Festival (August 8–9), headlined by Glass Animals, Kacey Musgraves, and Rüfüs Du Sol.

Mountain Music
The Telluride Americana Music Festival features singer-songwriters at the Sheridan Opera House (July 18–19). At Telluride Town Park, enjoy Trombone Shorty and other performers during the Telluride Jazz Festival (August 8–10); the new Camp Alderwild, combining camping and nature with performances by Of The Trees and Tycho (August 22–23); and the beloved Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, headlined by the Black Crowes and Thundercat (September 12–14).

Tennessee’s Blackberry Farm co-hosts a picnic and gourmet dinner at Telluride Table, which also features a welcome party at a ranch, Rosé Fest, and a Grand Tasting with caviar and fried chicken (various venues, July 10–13).
