Sothebys Gallery
Following its recent expansion to South Florida, Sothebys auction house officially opened an Aspen gallery on July 2. The inaugural exhibit In Focus: Warhol on Paper is actually a group show that also includes works by David Hockney, John Chamberlain and Peter Doig, among several artists, through July 31. Taikun Sushi
After popping up at Four Seasons Miami, Manhattan-born omakase den Taikun Sushi returns to Marble Bar Aspen (behind the Silver Circle Ice Rink) through October. Enjoy its talented chefs 13-course omakase at two nightly seatings, with la carte menu items soon to come. Reservations, which are required, can be made through Resy. taikunaspen.com 
Citizens of Humanity
Los Angeles-based fashion brand Citizens of Humanity chose Aspen for its first-ever freestanding store. Simply called Humanity, the lifestyle concept stocks its signature denim, tees and such, as well as other designers items like Adam Wade Wagner handbags, Dorchester Industries Pottery, a Haas Brothers fleece collaboration and Jessica McCormack jewelry. citizensofhumanity.com

TACAW
A longtime collective effort in the making, the Arts Campus at Willits (TACAW) offers diverse programming. Upcoming shows include Outside/In, a site-specific work by Colorados Impact Dance Company on July 16; acoustic folk blues musician Chris Smither on July 28; comedian Tig Notaro on August 3, and the Travelin McCourys on August 5. tacaw.org

Las Montaas
The Austin-based hospitality group behind the popular Clarks oyster bar in Aspen launches a new restaurant in Jimmys former space on Mill Street in late July. Las Montaas specializes in elevated Tex-Mex dishes like lobster quesadillas, ceviche, enchiladas and 10 types of fajitas. Sample a large selection of mezcals and tequilas, too. lasmontanasaspen.com

Four One Nine
Souchi boutique has a new owner and nameFour One Nine. Longtime customer and friend Kristin Yeary purchased the mainstay for womens clothing and accessory lines like Rachel Comey, Corey Lynn Calter, Cindy Kirk handbags (pictured) and, of course, original namesake Souchi knits.
