Pollution Patrol
Several local beach cleanups are taking place on Earth Day, but Florida Oceanographic Society in Hutchinson Island organizes monthly cleanups around Martin County. Since the 1960s, the environmental nonprofit has collected trash on causeways and beaches like Stuart, Jensen and Waveland.
