The weather couldnt be more glorious, but sometimes one needs a little culture to break up the beach time. Here are some fantastic fashion and art exhibits that are worth spending a few hours indoors. Anna Sui
The globally touring exhibition The World of Anna Sui is on view at NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale through October 3. This iteration of the American fashion designers retrospective features exclusive Biba dresses and a Ken Scott ensemble. Sui muse Jane Holzer loaned the latter. GeoVanna Gonzalez
Alternative art space Locust Projects presents two new shows. Miami- and Berlin-based artist GeoVanna Gonzalez invites viewers to interact with her site-specific installation HOW TO: Oh, look at me in the main gallery. The bodys sense of absence is the central theme for the project rooms group show Disembodied. Lorna Simpson, Jillian Mayer and Nicole Salcedo (pictured work) are among artists. locustprojects.org

Mara Berro
The Norton Museum of Art has organized the first survey of Colombian artist Mara Berro for the eighth installment of its Recognition of Art by Women series. Mara Berro: Esperando mientras la noche florece (Waiting for the Night to Bloom) explores feminine ideals amid lush landscapes and domestic interiors with magical realism elements. Her large-scale collages often incorporate Japanese paper. www.norton.org

Janiva Ellis
Janiva Ellis, a California-born, rising star in the art worldwhose works have been shown at the Whitney Biennial and the New Museum, as well as collected by the Whitney and the Rubellslanded her first solo museum exhibition. Organized by and on view at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, Janiva Ellis: Rats features new paintings created over the past year. icamiami.org

Van Gogh
Vincent Van Goghs works are known for staggering auction results, and now the 19th-century Dutch painter is being embraced by a whole new audience in the digital age. Viewers are able to dive into his world during Beyond Van Gogh: An Immersive Experience through massive digital projections of his iconic masterpieces.
