Miami Swim Week
Miami swim week, the worlds largest market for swim and resort fashions, may have been canceled in person, but the show went on virtually. To celebrate one of Floridas most exciting times of the year, weve compiled a quick list of our favorite collections to wear now. See you on the beach.
Kai Lani
Founded by Miami-born sisters Jessica Sierralta and Jordana Quetgles, Kai Lani has gained a strong following for its womens and childrens swimsuits and pareos. They pivoted during the pandemic with Re-mix, a sustainable collection of previous styles that sold out made from leftover fabrics. Looks in mixed floral prints and metallic solids, often with ruffles, are available through the lines online store and Sierraltas Mermaids Swimwear Boutique in South Miami. https://www.kailaniswimwear.com/collections/re-mix-collection https://www.mermaidsboutique.com/

Orlebar Brown x IWC
Swiss watch firms arent usually associated with swimwear, so we were surprised when IWC collaborated with Orlebar Brown on a nine-piece collection for men. Shop shorts, polo shirts, linen pants and cozy pieces like a Merino wool pullover and preppy blazer cut from cotton towelling, plus IWCs special-edition Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph timepiece. Both brands have online stores and locations at Bal Harbour Shops. https://www.orlebarbrown.com/iwc.html https://www.iwc.com/us/en/watch-collections/portugieser/iw390704-portugieser-yacht-club-chronograph-edition-orlebar-brow.html

Same Los Angeles
Designer, influencer and stylist Shea Marie is based in California, but she has a South Florida connection as Palm Beach sugar scion Andres Fanjuls fiance. Her swim line Same Los Angeles has also been making a splash for its Italian fabrics and haute concept. Its Grace collection borrows from ready to wear with crisp tailoring and oversized buttons. Multiple colors include cream and black, while a few styles are rashguards, high-waisted bottoms and an adorable one piece with cap sleeves. https://www.samelosangeles.com/collections/the-grace

Mavrans
Mavrans checks all the millennial boxes. The Miami-based brand is direct to consumer, sustainable in using organic cotton and recycled plastics, and playful through its hand-drawn, wild prints and retro resort pieces. Browse mens and womens limited-edition swimwear, Hawaiian shirts and windbreakers sporting tropical flora and fauna and scenes inspired by South Beach and Havana. https://mavrans.com/

Its Now Cool
It seemed like everyone at Miami swim week was talking about Its Now Cool, a new line from the namesake online swim shop. Minimal styles such as string bikinis and scoop tanks with high-cut legs nod to the early Nineties. Reunite with all your old favorites from ribbed fabrics to polka dots. Were all feeling a little nostalgic these days. https://shop.itsnowcool.com/collections/swim
