Well-trafficked for its gentle surf and protected lagoon, Martin Countys Bathtub Beach reopened after an extensive restoration project that began in fall. The beachs dune was rebuilt with new sand, and sea oats were planted for extra measure. Its also home to Bathtub Reef, whose hundreds of marine residents include sea turtles.
