Shannon Cartier Lucy, whos been featured in The New Yorker, shows recent paintings of everyday subjects turned surreal in The Ever-flashing Strap. Elsa Hansen Oldham's Trinity focuses on textile works with social commentary like quilts. Both are on view from April 3-May 15.

Laptops for Lotus
Yesterday would have been Lotus Houses annual spring gala. The Children First fund-raiser has been postponed until September 10, but the womens and childrens shelter still needs support. There arent enough laptops to go around for homeschooling, which began this week. Help via love@lotushouse.org.
