Kaws to Cassatt
On the final weekend of the Georgia OKeeffe: Living Modern exhibit, the Norton of Museum of Art hosts its 45th annual gala and live auction sponsored by Sothebys. Auction works by Rashid Johnson, Kaws, Mary Cassatt, Federico Uribe and more are displayed in the hall outside the new caf (a great addition for lunch and brunch). Preview bids are welcome.

The Vero Beach Museum of Art also holds its 2020 gala on January 31. For the creative theme of A Little Night Music, it imports Michael Amante to perform. Known as the Peoples Tenor, hes sold out Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall for his mix of Broadway hits, jazz standards and opera. Attendees are asked to don black and white cocktail attire.

Plant Ideas
Bring your wagon to load up on plants and ideas at Gardenfest on February 1 and 2. The Garden Club of Indian River County organizes the plant sale with 85 vendors at Riverside Park in Vero Beach. Panels include Container Gardening for Shade, Outstanding Roses that thrive here, and preserving heirloom plants by the former vice president of horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden.
