The Scoop: Palm Beach & Stuart | Weekend of November 7th

Crossing Courtyard

Sarah Gavlak relocated her eponymous art gallery at Palm Beachs Royal Poinciana Plaza across the courtyard next to Honor Bar. Chicago artist Candida Alvarezs solo show, De Colores, christens the space through December 21. New abstract works with vibrant color fields explore interior and exterior landscapes of the self, history and place.

Palm Beach Proud

First the new Norton Museum of Art launched, and now the Kravis Center staged its big reveal on November 3. The $40 million renovation added a parking garage, plaza with access to Okeechobee Boulevard and more square footage to the lobby. Its another great reason to attend Miami City Ballets Program One this weekend.

Elevated Echo

Echo Palm Beach, the Breakers offsite restaurant for pan-Asian cuisine, reopened on November 1 after a grand makeover. Serving dinner nightly, the spot is just as popular with locals as hotel guests. Its refreshing menu covers all the standards: seaweed salad, sashimi, Korean bulgogi, shumai, bao buns, Vietnamese pho, lo mein and Peking duck.
