The SoBe Food Festival with renowned chefs is amazing. Being able to sample great food, walk around, taste, taste and taste... so good. Art Basel is, of course, another incredible event not to miss.
YOUR VERY OWN HAPPY PLACE
South Pointe Park, a perfectly manicured park on the southern tip of South Beach, is my favorite. Stroll along its paths by the bay after a day at the beach its a vibrant destination in its own right.
BEST RESTAURANT IN SOUTH BEACH
RED Steakhouse. Not too pricey with a modern ambiance and spicy Miami flair, it serves incredible food with the freshest ingredients and offers great service.
BEST FOOD/COCKTAIL MENU ITEMS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD
At RED, I of course always go for the stone crab! On the side, the creamed spinach and mayonnaise potatoes are superb. To drink, I enjoy a casual beer at the South Pointe Tavern.
WHAT MAKES THIS NEIGHBORHOOD SPECIAL
Its simply paradise, a peaceful oasis surrounded by water. The South of Fifth neighborhood is dog-friendly, quiet, steps from the ocean and with incredible restaurants.
A GREAT OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE
Walk. Walk your dog or ride a bike. The South of Fifth neighborhood is a small one, yet completely packed with places to eat, things to do and beauty to see.
