Although there are a lot of great restaurants in the area, my current favorite has to be Michael Schwartzs Fi'lia at the newly opened SLS Brickell. Its great for rustic Italian food.
BEST MENU ITEM IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD
You have to order the meatballs at Filia. They come with whipped Ricotta cheese and garlic bread absolutely one of my favorite classic dishes in the city.
A GREAT OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE
Brickell is an area where you don't need a car, so youre constantly outdoors. You can go for a run or walk to the restaurants and bars. Everything you need is right there.

The history and its amazing transformation. Brickell began with lavish mansions lining Brickell Avenue for the super wealthy in the early 20th century.
