This sale wasnt the only one making headline. From stunning jewels in Geneva to works by Pablo Picassos granddaughter, the auctions at Sothebys got better by the minute.

The Geneva sale, with over 90% of lots sold and two-thirds over the high estimate, broke multiple records, including an auction record for a Fancy Intense Purplish Pink diamond, which sold for $13.2 million, setting a new record price per carat at $1.9 million. The Apollo and Artemis Diamonds, offered separately, were purchased for a combined total $57.4 million, becoming the most valuable earrings ever sold at auction.
