One of our favorite family spots is Harrys Pizzeria. It is so warm there and everyone knows me and my family. But there are many we love, such as Bombay Darbar, Lokal, Strada and Ariete!
BEST FOOD/COCKTAIL MENU ITEMS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Bombay Darbars Chicken Tikka Masala or Harrys Manchego-with-shrimp pizza! On a hot day, the Big Rod Coconut Ale at Lokal is perfect, brewed at the Miami Brewing Company right in Homestead.
A LOCAL EVENT NOTTO BE MISSED
My favorites are the Arts Festival and the Mango Strut Parade. A little less known is Bali Ha'i at The Kampong, an amazing little garden festival that Im on the event committee for.
A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN TRULY DISCONNECT
I love the water, and the Grove has plenty. If you want to see me truly disconnected you can find me on my boat, paddle boarding or relaxing at the Coral Reef Yacht Club with my family.
