Last Friday we hostedour annual company wide event, the ONE Summit, at the J.W. Marriott that not only reflected on the past year, but provided insight on new sales and marketing initiatives for 2017 and also touched on what's in store for the real estate market overall.
More than500 agents and 65 affiliates and corporate members traveled from all over the US to participate in the #ONESummit2017. One of the topics that was covered was how to leverage the Sothebys brand using our database and digital tools, as well as the new marketing resources that were presented by Karina Lopez, Director of Marketing. There was also a Top 4 Under 40 panel discussion moderated by Janie Coffey, with Dennis Carvajal, Nick Damianos, Jere Mecalf, and Damian Ross, who shared their tips on how to cultivate leads, and how being part of the Sotheby's team took their business to the next level.
Networking among agents from all over the country was only one of the highlights of the day. Attendees also had the chance to listen to motivational speeches about the current luxury market trends and the best practices for success by Winston Chesterfield of Wealth X andBill Pipes of the Tom Ferry Organization.
ONE Sotheby's CEO and Founder Mayi de la Vega closed the summit with an uplifting speech, reiterating that the brand is one world wide team capable of taking over the real estate world. She reminded everyone that our bestaccomplishments are directly related to our efforts and frame of mind.
The top agents were also congratulated, and the day ended with cocktails, and an optimistic outlook for the year ahead.
