Kicking off the Chinese New Year Year of the Rooster celebrations, Leading Miami real estate executive Daniel de la Vega just announced that he is co-author of the upcoming definitive Chinese buyers guide for US real estate.
The book is written all in Chinese and is being published by one of Beijing's top business publishers. Daniel's global network for buyers include strong connections with Chinese, who are buying $27 billion of US real estate this year, according to the National Association of Realtors.
Entitled "Chinese Institutions' Definitive Guide to USA Commercial Real Estate", the book is set to be published in China by early 2017 with chapters including, Why Purchase US Real Estate, Important International Tax Issues, Single-Family Investment, Closing the Deal, and more. The book writing effort was led by Ben Briggs, Executive Vice President of International Business for Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty, who has lived in China for over 10 years. The book includes chapters highlighting markets and submarkets in each of America's top gateway cities, written by local real estate CEOs and top brokers nationwide. Top US-China legal experts also helped pen chapters on optimizing tax structures and negotiating joint venture partnerships.
Daniel wrote the chapter on South Florida, by far one of China's favorite US hotspots for real estate purchases in recent years. As President of ONE Sothebys International Realty, Daniel de la Vega has been instrumental in building the company in South Florida and today enjoys annual sales in excess of $2 billion. He applies his background in finance and marketing to manage a property portfolio totaling $5 billion-plus in both new, luxury condo developments and listing inventory.
