Attendees were excited by the variety of objects whichcelebrated the rise of young Asian collectors who seek art across cultural boundaries. This sale is the highest-value sale of Western contemporary art ever held during a major auction series in Hong Kong. Total sales adding up to over $17.4M USD, with a portion of sale proceeds set tobenefit the Asian Cultural Council (ACC) to support emerging Asian artists. The Important Chinese Art auction resulted in sales totaling more than $40M USD, including aQianlong era extremely rare blue and white vase.
