All-Night Nobu
Nobu Hotel began taking reservations for its third property (and first on a beach) in the former Eden Roc. So no one is confused, the Eden Roc is still alive and well; it just relocated next door to the joint propertys other tower. The hotel is an offshoot of the famous Japanese restaurant whose original South Beach address also moved operations to the new all-Nobu concept. Architect David Rockwell oversaw the redesign of Morris Lapidus historic building with 206 rooms, including three penthouse suites, all whose baths feature rain showers, teak benches, and rosemary and white tea-scented Natura Biss bath products. Guests sleep on Simmons Bouvet Island mattresses in Fili Doro linens. They can order Nobus famous dishes (miso black cod, hamachi jalapeno) through room service to boot.

Bistro Blender
Two Italian brothers raised in France are garnering huge praise for Alloy, their courtyard bistro in downtown Miami. Most diners miss the 35-seat spot while on their way to the more publicized PB Station at the Langford Hotel, but its definitely worth checking out. The menu, which changes daily, touches on Italian classics like risotto, but the founders stints in London, Tunisia and around Miami broaden flavors through global influencescarrot dip with exotic spices, octopus with Brazilian peppers, and tuna tataki with pickled veggies. Its everything good about fusion cuisine versus the usual trendy plates that try too hard. Desserts are showing up on Instagram, too, whether the 36-hour pineapple or deconstructed cheesecake. People also like its white-washed, tiled setting that feels like stepping into a friends chic home.
