The charming town of Tequesta is the northernmost city of Palm Beach County, located just North of the Jupiter Inlet and adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway. Tequesta is situated largely on the mainland, around the peaceful waterways of the Loxahatchee River, with a small section sitting on the prestigious Jupiter Island. Incorporated in 1957 (and named after the Tequesta Indians who lived in the southeastern region Florida) as a planned community revolving around the historic Tequesta Country Club, this quaint neighborhood has since blossomed into one of the most blissful destinations in all The Palm Beaches.
