Best Sothebys's agent: Starleigh Martinez in Melbourne, Florida, USA!! This is our second time buying a new home with Starleigh. She is the most professional, caring and knowledgeable agent you can hope for! This past Summer, we were under contract to buy a home in Melbourne Beach, Florida, with Starleigh as our realtor. We began having difficulties communicating with the Seller's agent (who was also a Sotheby's agent), including lack of response to requests for information, non-communication for requested amendment signatures, and disrespectful texts being sent to our agent, Starleigh. After we decided negotiations were at a stalemate, we decided to terminate the contract after 30 days (well within the 45-day window), which then prompted threats of litigation and withholding our escrowed funds from the Sellers via their agent. Through it all, Starleigh remained professional, confident and calm for us, and we successfully cancelled the contract weeks before the required Cancellation Date. We will begin our search again for a new home with Starleigh in the Spring, knowing that we have our Sotheby's crusader with us! Thank you, Starleigh!!
