JEANNETTE (Jean) TAPIA - RESIDENTIAL SPECIALIST - ONE Sotheby’s - Weston FL Team Leader of the EVOLVE Group. Jean is a new proud affiliate member of ONE - Sotheby’s but she’s has working side by side with best leaders in the Industry for over 16 years and she takes great pride to ensure that every client has the best experience possible, and skillfully assists their clients every step of the way whether it's preparing for listing presentations, or ensuring that each listing is picture-perfect for the market, to personally accompanying showings, or facilitating with negotiations and communications with all parties, (where her fluency in Spanish and understanding of the South American culture is particularly helpful in South Florida). She’s also loved by buyers as she’s patient and quickly understands their needs and has successfully relocated dozens of families form Miami-Dade to Palm Beach counties and she’s a Luxury Specialist. Jean also spearheads the administrative needs of each transaction and keeps up with the ever-changing technological aspects of marketing. Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Jean attended the University of the Andes where she graduated with a BA in Industrial/Product Design with a concentration in Anthropology. After graduation, she moved to NYC and then Connecticut, where she dabbled in several real estate investments before working as an Office Manager for a luxury new developer, and as a Realtor for the largest residential real estate company in the area for many years. On a trip to South Florida in Winter 2009, Jean stopped to visit what she fondly refers to as “Westonland” and immediately fell in love with the town, its surrounding beauty, and the weather! She quickly made plans to relocate and has since been enjoying every aspect of the South Florida lifestyle. When she’s not with clients, (which is rare), you can find her at school activities or at one of Weston's many parks with her 3 daughters, or doing remodeling projects at home. Jean constantly shares the knowledge she's gained during her outstanding real estate career with her team colleagues of the EVOLVE Group, and has earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
