Istvan Zolcsak came to Miami at a very early age and grew up in Coral Gables making him practically a native of South Florida. During his high school years, he lived in São Paulo, Brazil which allowed him to create strong relationships within the country. Once high school was completed, he moved back to Miami and attended Johnson & Wales University. After that he studied at the University of Miami in order to obtain his master’s degree in International Administration. Being exposed to several different cultures throughout his lifetime allowed him to become fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Straight out of completing his master’s program Istvan joined the DUEK LARA Group, working directly with hundreds of multi-national and national clients throughout the past years. The areas in which Istvan primarily does business with ranges from Aventura all the way to Pinecrest. Embedded in his persona is a mix of charisma along with professionalism. He states that he considers his clients to be part of his family, and his family always comes first.

I had the opportunity to work with Istvan on a recent transaction and I was seriously impressed. As the lender, you see firsthand who actually shows up and gets things done, and he absolutely does. He’s extremely professional, detail oriented, and genuinely cares about his clients. He negotiated an incredible deal for the buyers, they walked in with a couple hundred thousand dollars in instant equity since the purchase price came in well below appraised value. This was not an easy transaction at all. There were a lot of complications on the seller side, but Istvan stayed on top of everything from start to finish. He was constantly following up, pushing things forward, and making sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Honestly, without him, I don’t think these buyers would have closed on their first home. If you’re looking for an agent who actually fights for their clients and gets deals to the finish line, Istvan is the one. Highly recommend!
