Since the first communication with Dee Ferrara I could tell we were in great hands. The first property we stayed in at Amelia overlooked beautiful tree tops. Dee asked if we were interested in seeing her other properties for our next vacation and we came back, this time it was to look for an investment property, and possibly a retirement property. Since becoming owners at Amelia, June of 2018 we could not have asked for a better property manager. She has taken care of our property as if it were her own. Owners and guests cannot imagine what she does behind scenes, detailing items- steaming upholstery, changing fixtures, updating appliances, decorations, towels, sheets and more to make our place a memorable destination. It was only recently that I came to understand why her standards were so high, since apart from her education, real-estate background and southern hospitality, she worked for the Ritz Carlton. She understands the market, pricing and the high seasons and we placed our faith on her expertise and years of experience without as much as a blink, as we went on with our busy lives in Miami. In 2023 on Dee’s professional advice we put our beautiful Amelia investment up for sale as the market was still good and the feedback indicated that the beautiful upkeep and successful rentals were impressive. While we decided to take on a few other real estate projects, we cannot forget that it was our Amelia property that provided an attractive rental income and was so profitable, so as to allow for these new opportunities. We do plan on coming back to Amelia, as we see it as our second home, and that is all thanks to an amazing professional and our dear friend, Dee Ferrara.
