I wanted to take a moment to talk about Carla Christenson. My Mother recently passed away leaving my Brother and I with a valuable property on the Loxahatchee River to sell. Neither one of us had bought or sold a home before, and were very worried about how the process would work. Carla not only went above and beyond with regard to the sale of our Mother's home and subsequent purchases of both of our new homes, but spent an extraordinary amount of time making sure that both my Brother and I were comfortable and informed at each step in the process. We wanted to list our home at a competitive price, but also wanted to make sure we got top dollar for the sale. One of the ways that Carla helped to ensure this was with her marketing materials. She took the time to make sure that the property not only looked it's best, but also that it was described in a way that would make it even more appealing to potential buyers. After listing the property as "coming soon" for @ 7 days, we received our first offer on the first day it was officially available. We received another offer for full asking price from one of Carla's previous clients that same day, but received what would be the winning offer (and well over asking price with 180 days of post-occupancy) the next morning. She helped us set up the title company and get the deal closed within a month. During this time, she was also showing me potential new homes. After finding a place that I was truly in love with, but was also actively being bid on by a number of other buyers, she was able to aggressively negotiate for me and get the deal closed before leaving the showing. She was able to do the same thing for my brother by not only finding his future home, but closing another very competitive property in less than 24 hours. My experience with Carla has led me to recommend her to numerous friends and family members looking to buy/sell homes in the area.
