Renaissance Rino

Rino Cerbone is quite the renaissance man. He’s the lead singer for Stellar Revival, which has opened for Bon Jovi, as well as the chef restaurateur behind the new Heritage in Fort Lauderdale’s Flagler Village. The upscale Italian eatery takes its name seriously with handmade pastas and other authentic dishes like black mushroom arancini with garlic aioli.

Vicuña Vows

Chilean artist Cecilia Vicuña’s first major U.S. solo exhibition is on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami through March 29. “About to Happen” encompasses nearly a half century of site-specific installations, performance, textiles and video, among her staggering use of media. Her ongoing motif about man’s relationship to Mother Earth is as modern as ever, too.
