LTD by Lizzie Tisch took over LaunchPad, a concept space for rotating designers at the Esplanade shopping center, through January 4. Table Hopping

Farmer’s Table in Boca Raton added a second location at the newly renovated North Palm Beach Country Club. Culinary director Michael Schenk’s healthy menu will also be available at the club’s new event space, grab-and-go market and pool snack bar. The $20 million makeover also features a new resort-style clubhouse and revamped 18-hole course by Jack Nicklaus.

Family Friendly

Science centers are a parent’s best friend during holiday break. The Loxahatchee River District’s River Center hosts Old School Science Day on December 28. Kids can explore exhibits, test experiments and make crafts. The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium’s Noon Year’s Eve includes special activities like a dance party and dry ice apple cider toast on December 31.

Savor’s Suppers

Looking for a new restaurant to try during holiday downtime? Jason and Hallie Alfonso, the husband-and-wife owners of 121 Tapas, opened Savor in Vero Beach (in Vero Prime’s former space). He cooks small plates and main entrées, while she oversees the wine list. The creole crab cake and gnocchi with rock shrimp are already hits.
