SNEAKER STARS

Sneak Peek Luxury, ONE Sotheby’s International Realty agent Daniel Cohen’s side hustle, specializes in exclusive fashions from Audemars Piguet and Rolex watches to limited-edition collaborations between designer brands and artists. He and the store’s other three partners, all friends who grew up in Miami, created an Internet sensation when they deconstructed a Louis Vuitton x Supreme baseball jersey to adorn Air Jordan 1 sneakers (pictured). Miami Heat player James Johnson snagged the first of four pairs. Drake and professional athletes Alex Galchenyuk and Ryan Shazier are also clients for coveted items such as Human Race by Adidas and Pharrell, and Virgil Abloh’s Off-White sneakers through a partnership with Nike. Approximately 85 percent of merchandise is new, while used items go through a meticulous authentication process. Reach Cohen at 305.528.6117.

SOCIETY SNAPS

Palm Beach’s colorful personalities are the theme of photographer Landon Nordeman’s exhibit opening on March 29 at the Colony Hotel. The new works, which will be available in editions of seven, are part of an ongoing series and artist residency program organized by the hotel and Voltz Clarke Gallery in New York through May. Titled “High Season,” they also depict several well-known local establishments including the Colony’s legendary Polo lounge. Nordeman, who shoots for The New York Times, fashion brands like Proenza Schouler and food magazines like Saveur, captured the crowd during its popular dance parties. One patron even came dressed in the same tropical print as the venue’s wallpaper. More art news: Ben Leone curated artworks for the Royal Poinciana Plaza, including a large-scale boulder sculpture by Nathan Slate Joseph for its tropical courtyard.

MALL MEALS

Aventura Mall gives new meaning to its niche with museum-quality artworks and chef-driven restaurants. Its new wing features a stellar lineup of culinary talent sprinkled through the sophisticated Treats food hall and around a landscaped courtyard alongside a new event space and artist Carsten Höller’s towering slide sculpture. International Smoke, Ayesha Curry and Michael Mina’s San Francisco restaurant, focuses on global spices and barbecue traditions. You’ll have to wait until summer to try it but can visit Genuine Pizza, which hosts Chef’s Night In on April 3, Shake Shack, Le Pain Quotidien and Pubbelly Sushi in the meantime. New York-based Serafina also opened recently for Italian fare and more diverse dishes like a filet mignon burger with gorgonzola cheese. Tap 42 and Rosetta Bakery are on deck too.

SUMMER OF CYNTHIA

Cynthia Rowley has planted strong roots in South Florida by opening back-to-back stores in Miami and Palm Beach. The New York fashion designer, best-selling author and mother of two daughters looks to her active lifestyle, often with surfboard in hand, for their chic, inspirational assortment dubbed “Endless Summer.” Martone Bikes, Gatti jewelry handcrafted in Italy, Lingua Franca’s sustainable cashmere knits and Eir’s organic skin-care products for men and women made in Brooklyn are just some of the extra perks her clients find while browsing her namesake collection. Lately, she’s advanced her surf and swim divisions, and introduced children’s sizes for her signature “Cali York” tees and bags. Her husband, Bill Powers, contributes with Exhibition A, their online venture for contemporary artworks (prints, silkscreens).
