Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to top the list of companies on Lifestory Research’s 2017 America’s Most Trusted® Residential Real Estate Brokerage Study, ranking Sotheby’s International Realty as the brand highest in trust among residential real estate brands. This is the fifth year the title of America’s Most Trusted® has been awarded.
According to Lifestory Research, the study was based on 6,299 consumer surveys collected over a 12 month period to home shoppers throughout the United States. It tracks how trust impacts the evaluations of residential real estate brokerage brands this demographic. Study participants must indicate their awareness of specific brands and be actively shopping for a new home for inclusion in the research. The real estate companies included in the final ranking list are those most recognized by consumers; some included in the study surveys are not represented in the results as they did not generate high enough brand awareness among participants. To determine America’s Most Trusted® Residential Real Estate Brokerage trust is measured through a Net Trust Quotient Score in which brands are divided into three categories: “advocates,” customers who feel a significant trust toward the brand; “neutrals,” those who trust a specific brand, but do not see a specific brand as standing on the shoulders of other brands; and “antagonists,” who are skeptics with little, if any, trust in a specific brand.
