ONE | Sotheby’s New Mobile Website

ONE | Sotheby’s International Realty has just launched their upgraded new website and with it a new mobile site that can be accessed on smartphones and tablets. The new mobile site has a user friendly interface with special resources and tools that facilitate the home search process. Users are also able to add an icon to their phone’s home screen that allows them to quickly access the site at any time.

The home page of the mobile site has three main functions for users to search properties nearby by or in other neighborhoods. In the ‘Search All Homes” tab users can fill out minimum and maximum price criterias as well as number of bedrooms, bathrooms, short sales, foreclosures and new listings on the MLS.

The mobile site can also detect where users are located and pull up all the nearby properties available through the ‘Houses Near Me” tab. When the users taps on a certain pin, they can access the decriptions, details and photos of the property.

On the mobile site users will also be able to search for on going Open Houses by location, price range and date.

The One Sotheby’s Guide to Art’s latest App – ArtCapture

We are honored to be sponsoring the VIP Lounge at Arteamericas, the premier fair of art from Latin America this weekend. The event kicks off on Friday March 2nd and will run through Monday March 5th at the Miami Beach Convention Center. We hope to see you all there and wanted to make sure you were in the know on the latest iPhone App from the art world, ArtCapture.

Find your favorite art pieces on the Art Capture app

ArtCapture helps users document and discover information about their favorite art pieces. Whether at an art gallery, an art fair, a museum, or even on the street – just snap an image of the art piece, add your notes and ArtCapture will store it for you. Art lovers can also be social with the art they like and can share their images with friends on Facebook or Twitter. The app recognizes over 500,000 works of art automatically and gives instant information about the artwork, the artist and the gallery. ArtCapture also comes with a Collectrium web account where users can manage their own art collection, and then access it instantly on their iPhones. Art Capture is a wonderful tool that will help you navigate and explore the works that will be on display at Arteamericas.

Here’s how to use it:
• Search ArtCapture in your app market.
• Download the application on your iPhone before attending Arteamericas.
• On the home screen, click “All” and scroll down to download the Arteamericas catalogue before attending Arteamericas.
• You now have access to the database of pieces that you will find at Arteamericas directly on your iPhone!
• When you are at the event click on the “ArtCapture” button to take new pictures to pull up the art’s information or Scan the QR code that you will find on the pieces within the fair.

You will be able to save your favorite images, make notes and share via Facebook and Twitter. Note: The application is not currently available for Blackberry and Android but look for it later this year.

Bellini Williams Island is the First Preconstruction Development in South Florida this Year

Preconstruction sales are underway for Bellini Williams Island, a 24-story tower in Aventura that will offer 70 luxurious residences. Aside from being minutes away from the best shopping, dining and entertainment in Miami, Bellini Williams Island will also have state of the art amenities such as lavish spa and fitness centers and recreation areas. Martin Marguiles, the developer of Grove Isle in Coconut Grove, Grand Bay Towers in Key Biscayne and Bellini in Bal Harbour is the mastermind behind the project.

Each one of the 70 private residences is slated to have its own private elevator, panoramic oceanfront views and three oversized bedrooms. Other details include wrap around balconies, 10-ft high ceilings, and the most high-end interior finishes and fixtures. Residences are currently priced at over $1 million and we are proud that One Sotheby’s Realty is the main broker representing the development.

 Inna Katz has excitedly joined the world renowned Sotheby’s Realty brand in the Miami Beach area.  She currently resides in Acqualina, on the North Miami’s Sunny Isles strip, and specializes in the North Miami area. Her fluency in Russian language and culture gives her an edge in the ever-growing Russian market.

Inna was born in Ukraine and immigrated to New York in the early 1990s. She lived and studied there, graduating Suma Cum Laude in Finance from Baruch College in 2004. Throughout her studies, she worked full time in various financial firms, including BlackRock Asset Management and ultimately on the trading floor for the investment bank of JPMorgan Chase.  Upon receiving her series 7, 63 and Life and Health license, she traded derivates on Foreign Exchange currencies for the Latin American countries. After realizing her great potential in sales, Inna was given the opportunity to work in Syndication and Sales of Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDOs), where JPMorgan paved the way as the global leader. Inna has road showed managers all over the world, priced billion dollar transactions and has had immense success in the very sophisticated financial markets.

Key Biscayne TweetUp Highlights New High-Tech Office

Last Thursday, January 20th we hosted our third tweet-up at our new Key Biscayne office located at 328 Crandon Blvd. A lively crowd of over 50 guests gathered for an evening of tweeting, cocktails and gourmet bites. Tweeters used the #onesir hashtag to broadcast their tweets on the large plasma TV in the office’s sleek new lobby and share all the action with their followers.

Joining the decor of the new office in Key Biscayne is Venezuelan photographer, Kiko Ricote.  Kiko is the ‘spotlight artist’ being recognized for his contributions to the local market. His renowned photography is displayed on the white walls of the office providing visitors an ‘art gallery’ experience.

“We are constantly working on new and innovative savvy marketing tools to offer clients and brokers,” says company president Beth Butler. “The Tweet Up events have been very successful, everyone enjoys tweeting.” Guests also participated in the giveaway raffle, which included beach apparel by local fashion designer Liza and Tara and yoga classes.

Social Media Influencers Janie Coffey and Jorge Fernandez Join ONE Sotheby’s

We are so excited to announce that two of Miami’s most influential, technology savvy agents have joined ONE Sotheby’s Realty. Janie Coffey and Jorge Fernandez are both pioneers for using social media to connect with clients and close sales all over South Florida.
