The ONE CIFO Project, located at ONE Sotheby’s International Realty’s Miami Beach office celebrated the launch of it’s third exhibition with a cocktail soiree attended by leading real estate brokers, industry insiders and high profile art collectors. Guests browsed through art work by Daniel Median and Ricardo Rendon, which included photography, paintings and video installations.

ONE Sotheby’s International Realty Takes Home the Floridian Award for Best Real Estate Brokerage

On Saturday, December 1st, the who’s who of Miami gathered at the Miami-Dade College Chapman Conference Center for a special awards ceremony for The Floridian Awards. Among the evening’s guests and presenters were local celebrities and VIPs that included Louis Aguirre, Jennifer Valoppi, Irene Marie, Ian Buchanan and Laurie Jennings, among others.

ONE Sotheby’s International Realty was nominated to win the South Florida’s Best Real Estate Brokerage along with broker Eloy Carmenate, and both won in each category. The winners were determined by votes which proves that the community stands behind our brand and our service. The Floridian Awards recognized achievements by South Floridians in 47 categories including businesses, philanthropy, hospitality, sports, entertainment, and the arts.

We are very honored and proud to have received the Floridian Award, many thanks to everyone that showed their support for voting for us.

Art Basel 2012- An Interactive Map

In Miami, Art Basel is the most anticipated time of the year because it brings the best art exhibitions and events to the city. Art collectors, VIPs, celebrities and the who’s who of the world flock to Miami Beach, the Design District, Wynwood and Downtown to attend the most extravagant and exciting events and browse coveted art by the top painters, sculptors and photographers.

The main Art Basel exhibition takes place at the Miami Beach Convention Center and there are countless other satellite fairs around town that worth checking out. ONE Sotheby’s Participates in Sotheby’s Record Breaking Contemporary Art Auction

On November 13th, Sotheby’s in New York City held its Contemporary Art Auction that included masterpieces by artists Mark Rothko, Willem De Kooning, Jackson Pollack and Francis Bacon among others.

A team of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty brokers attended the auction to showcase distinguished South Florida properties and connect with international investors and art collectors. Broker Joelle Oiknine presented luxury listings at the ONE Sotheby’s booth and provided information about new developments, and the resort lifestyle that Miami offers.

The highest sale at the auction was an abstract piece by Mark Rothko that fetched $75 million, with the entire auction bringing in a total of $375 million, which broke a Sotheby’s record.

This past Thursday Bellini Williams Island and ONE | Sotheby’s hosted a ‘tweet-up’ event at the distinctly chic Bourbon Steak restaurant at Turnberry Isle in Aventura. The event was attended by over 20 social media savvy real estate and community influencers that enjoyed half priced cocktails, and mouthwatering bites that included truffle popcorn and the trio of duck fat fries. (yum!)
