Earlier this year a partnership between ONE|Sotheby’s International Realty and the Cisneros Fontanal Art Foundation brought the ONE|CIFO Project to life, which is now unveiling its 2nd major collection of artwork by contemporary Latin American artist. Prominent community figures and real estate industry leaders gathered at ONE|Sotheby’s International Realty’s Miami Beach office, where the exhibition is displayed, for an intimate cocktail reception to get a first look at the new pieces. The collection includes works by Gabriel Antolínez (Colombia), Laura Belém (Brazil), Tatiana Blass (Brazil), Eugenia Calvo (Argentina), Fritzia Irizar-Rojo (Mexico), Suwon Lee (Venezuela) and José Ruiz (Peru), and has a very vibrant and diverse feel in mixed medias such as paintings, photography and even a video.
The project is a collaborative fundraising initiative that benefits the artists in the exhibition as well as CIFO’s endowment fund, that provides support to art programs and initiatives. During the first collections, a majority of the pieces were sold and we are expecting the same success with this exhibition.
The gallery is open to the public on Monday through Fridays from 10am-6pm, and on the weekends from 11am to 5pm at 116 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach.
