As its name implies, pop-up restaurant Eating House takes the culinary craft seriously. For the new Wakin-N-Bacon Sunday brunch from 1-5 p.m., chef Giorgio Rapicavoli skips staples like carving stations in place of a la carte items dreamt up with the same ambition as his nightly menus. Fare is either modernized, such as Mexican chilaquiles with pork belly, or a pure play on Americana—Cap’n Crunch pancakes, Tang mimosas and burgers between halved Krispy Kreme doughnuts turned buns.
