As its name implies, pop-up restaurant Eating House takes the culinary craft seriously. For the new Wakin-N-Bacon Sunday brunch from 1-5 p.m., chef Giorgio Rapicavoli skips staples like carving stations in place of a la carte items dreamt up with the same ambition as his nightly menus. Fare is either modernized, such as Mexican chilaquiles with pork belly, or a pure play on Americana—Cap’n Crunch pancakes, Tang mimosas and burgers between halved Krispy Kreme doughnuts turned buns. With a dab of the house’s coca cola ketchup, BK mini hash browns as homage to Miami’s own Burger King complete the food odyssey. 804 Ponce de Leon Boulevard (in Café Ponce through July 31).
